Some people believe students in the institute of higher learning should fully fund their studies themselves due to the fact that advanced learning only benefits them, and not the society. I personally do not think this is the case, therefore , I strongly disagree to this proposition. Modules taught in the universities, I would say, are voluminuous; however,  more explanatory and comprehensive version of the secondary schools' curricula.  In Nigeria,  for instance, students are taught different laws and principles to become scholars,  physicists and scientists without having an insight into how the laws work in reality. The universities, on the contrary, provide them with a wide variety of modules, and lots of seminars, presentations and workshops that are tailored to help them gain more expertise in a specific area or field. It is believed by some people that the government should prohibit some sports which are dangerous. On the other hand, some argue that people have the freedom of choosing any sporting activities whatsoever. While both opinions might be backed by some substantive reasons, I opine that governments should not interfere in such matters for some logical reasons. One of the reasons some propose that governments should ban  dangerous sports is due to the adverse effects dangerous sports pose on individuals' health and physical well being. It is proposed by a few people that it is the duty of the government to convey students to their schools,  while some oppose this opinion, disputing that it is the parents' responsibility to do so. While both notions may have some justifiable reasons, I suppose it is more of the parents' duty to do so, than the governments'.  Many believe that the role of the government is to protect citizens of any age group, as well as foster the security of all. In recent times, a relatively fair number of people neglect the consumption of wholesome meals and even the act of keeping themselves physically fit for some reasons, of which busy/tight schedule could be one of them. For example, in Lagos, Nigeria, a buzzing city in the Western part of the country, which is comprised of a quite large number of inhabitants, who go through struggles, hurdles and hustles each day while transporting themselves to their diverse work places, working _ class people, and even small business owners usually need to stay awake very early in the morning so as to beat the traffic snarl, and even stay out late at night, stuck in the traffic jam. A few people believe that acquisition of another country's language is only for the purpose of either travel or work.  On the contrary,  some argue that there are more reasons people learn foreign languages. Personally, I think the latter is right for some reasons.  Scores of people attend tutorials by experts, read a lot of books, and surf the Internet for relevant online courses that could help them gain a mastery of the foreign languages. Nowadays, a great deal of people do not want to interact verbally with the older adults in the society the way they used to in the past. There is a growing number of obeised individuals as a result of improper diet. However, many believe that the probable solution that could be proffered to mitigate this situation is by inflating the prices of unwholesome foods and drinks. I strongly support this idea for a few reasons. A wide variety of unhealthy meals such as junks, stale foods and fast foods and sugary drinks are frequently consumed by people; for example, in Nigeria, drinks which comprise added sugar and high calories (Pespsi and Seven up) are copiously taken. An increasing number of parents in some countries give their children home education instead of a formal, class room education. From my perspective, the benefits of this trend are quite numerous,  and outbalance the downsides, if any.  Education is a teaching and learning process; the process of imparting and acquiring knowledge and skills.  It is indispensable in the lives of all, and every child is entitled to a sound education.   School education, a formal type of education, has been a comparatively common form of attaining Western Education over the years. Today, the issue of public health is fast becoming very urgent.  As regards this, some propose that governments should enforce food choice and nutrition in a view to improving people's health status. Others argue that this issue is an individual's responsibility, and no concern of the government. Hardwork and  fortitude are perceived by some people as vanguard of success in life. Others argue that it actually depends on some other determinants such as wealth or physical outlook. A few people enjoy being with the friends of the same age category in their spare time. Some others enjoy being with friends of diverse age groups.
